Documenting Web aka AMP Stories ‘The WordPress Way‘ and sharing the UX tactics and strategies along the way…
This post will be updated frequently. Last Update: June 24th, 2019.
This is the beginning of an archive list of some testing we are doing of beta version(s) of Web Stories. We are working for the purpose of contributing to improving the exciting work being done. Some important UX work can make development work more concise and better informed thanks to usability testing and fundamental design practices.
Our teams provide useful demos, reviews, highlight issues, and identify user needs based on specific use cases. We are on the roadmap towards Progressive Web Applications and AMP is one important stop along the way!
See the early persons I created for the WordPress plug in durning the alpha release in preparation for the beta sprints: Web Story Personas/Scenarios
I also shared a PSD template for design teams needing to manage both mobile and desktop presentations. Contact me if you wan to use it to edit your story assets. I can also be found at the AMP Slack channel.

We have desktop working on this test story Spring in Kyoto… We are spending some time contributing to issues in GitHub to help with usability testing and UX in general. Unfortunately we are not serving up the same content on Desktop and on Mobile yet because Side-by-Side and Side-Over-Side is missing in the work thus far.
Consider Side-by-Side in desktop and Side-over-Side in mobile is one that we see a huge demand for and amazing success with at The Telegraph and at The Washington Post and at The San Francisco Chronicle:
